So, I did it. I got myself the Too Faced Pretty Rebel eyeshadow palette that was launched as part of a limited edition collection for the transition from summer into fall in mid 2013. The Pretty Rebel palette contains 10 insanely pigmented, vibrant eyeshadow shades.
The palette comes in a hard cardboard-backed packaging designed with black ribbons wrapped around it, lending an edgy, and somewhat borderline BDSM style to the overall look. The palette comes with a large mirror and Too Faced’s signature how-to Glamour Guide to create three rebellious beauty looks.
The Too Faced Pretty Rebel Fall 2013 Limited Edition Collection is incredibly gorgeous with its rich, jewel-toned hues, frosted and metallic eyeshadows which are richly pigmented, highly blendable, creamy and glide on like butter. And, I love this palette: for its irreverence, its boldness and its unique textures! I was attracted to the duochrome shades like Girly which looks metallic green in the pan but when swatched is actually a metallic duochrome taupey-green.

Despite how vibrant this palette is, I was determined to create a daytime, office-appropriate look. The first two colours (from left) on both rows would be enough to create a daytime look but given the name of this palette and how much of a rebel I can be, I wanted to incorporate a gold metallic shade into my look. So here is a look I created, I hope you enjoy it. But first, let me preface this by saying that this look is only office-appropriate if you do not work in a conservative office because it is somewhat smokey for daytime.
