.anything two-wheels, travel, food, beauty, fashion and my personal musings.
Here’s another item I purchased at the Changi Airport departure transit lounge – the Christian Dior (CD) Eye Designer Eye Makeup Palette.
I reckon this palette is available exclusively at duty free shops because I haven’t seen it retailing anywhere else. It is designed as a compact travel kit with essential shades and tools to create a combination of versatile looks from natural to sultry in one palette. I was drawn into purchasing this because it contained a cream eyebrow liner, an eyeliner and a pair of tweezers in that neat little package!
Upon unboxing, I noticed the palette came with the velvet sleeve that is synonymous with most CD palettes. There was also a booklet which is a guide on how to use the shades to create some looks.
The palette contains:
Maybe, this palette has been kept for some time, the eyeliner looks like it is sweating a bit. The oils have started to separate and appear on the surface of the pan.
Since all the pictures I took were so orange/yellow due to the light in the resort, here’s one taken in better light.
Here are swatches from the palette.
Enclosed with the palette is a booklet on how to use the shades to create different looks.
I decided to give the palette a go and here are the results!
I decided to keep it light and subtle for this day look.
Hope you enjoyed this and once again thanks for reading!
